Bike store website goes live

Sitex has successfully completed the implementation of a new website for a Dutch bicycle store. The new Joomla! and VirtueMart website going live marks the completion of several months of development and relationship building between Sitex and its new European website development partner. For the time being the identity of the website development partner remains secret. Sitex has already received follow up work from this client which requires development of an online auction site.

Provis Ltd. visits Sitex development center in Krasnoyarsk

In May 2007 the managing director of Provis GmbH, Manfred Gahr, visited the Sitex development center in Krasnoyarsk. The business trip was accomplished as a part of the software development partnership lasting since 2004. Apart from an exchange of experience the development team discussed issues around our joint-development project “InfoCarrier 1™”. This is an MES software solution which is used particularly in the chemical industry for Process Manufacturing. Seminars on technical concepts for the migration of the software solution to Microsoft Visual Studio with application of the programming language C # were held as well as on three tier architecture, Object Relational Mapping (ORM), Application Layer, GUI, source code management etc.
